Parents and baby are home at last!
Had a bit of a hiatus before being released since baby had a temperature and was dehydrated. This was not entirely surprising given the stifling temperature in the ward, especially when the sun was coming in. This was added to by family enthusiasm for layers of clothing more suited to an era before central heating. However he did need more liquid and was whisked away for the night, with little explanation, and NO ACCESS to parents. Needless to say this caused much stress to O and S.
However - baby now retrieved and all home as promised. Sooo much calmer there in spite of the number of people in residence. Relatives being very restrained, including us, and Oliver is getting stuck in to the baby changing. He and Sasa have their own bedroom now for quiet time and feeding and both look much happier as you can see.
Oh, so gorgeous to see all three of them together and parents looking so happy. Isn't Oliver relaxed with his beautiful son! He looks quite long. So glad they have peace and quiet and can enjoy their new baby properly. I notice he has fewer clothes on now! Parents/grandparents make the same mistake in this country, it's not just a Chinese problem. Any name yet? Love to all. xxx
