Hello to all our readers and thank you for all the kind words. (if you have had enough of baby stuff, look away now!)
Sasa is very cheerful, continuing to get stronger and managing to feed baby OK. She is still finding it hard to move, though recovering faster than expected and the doctors have said she could go home tomorrow. It would be great if she could since the ward is not a restful place.
Oliver stayed overnight to look after the baby but could not easily relax with all the new baby noises and mysteries to get used to, as well as having 5 other mums in the room with their own family helpers.
Babies being quite perverse, he was of course quite active in the night and is now catching up his sleep. Although this means that Oliver has been able to go home and get some sleep while we help Sasa, it also means that we are deprived of cuddling and photo-opportunities :-(......
OK he's awake now and here are some more photos. Last one is with Sasa's brother and aunt.
Awww, the doting grandparents! Gorgeous. How lovely to see a boy in pink. Are there any conventions on colour for babies? X
