Happy Christmas to all our readers

We are just getting geared up to Christmas feasts of various kinds. First one with Sasa's Shanghai relatives for Christmas eve. It is quite a guessing game to know what they will like. Then Christmas day with the whole family and some of Oliver's friends in the evening which will be nice.  

Theo is still thriving and being kind to Oliver and Sasa. Once his reasonable needs have been met he is very jolly and clearly likes communicating with his many willing carers and soaking up his surroundings. 

Shanghai continues to be exhausting - not least the constant building noises. Right now we are listening to day four of hammer drilling from the floor below which is very disappointing after Liz managed to find such a lovely flat for us to celebrate Christmas. However I think we have negotiated a cease fire for Christmas day. Fingers crossed.
